Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a formal appraisal?
No. North Coast Financial uses an in-house broker price opinion to assess the property's value. There is no appraisal fee and no need to schedule a licensed appraiser. This is one way we keep the process faster and less expensive than traditional lenders.
Can I apply before I have all the documents?
You can call us to discuss your situation before you have everything assembled. However, we cannot begin the formal process or issue a commitment until we have a complete package. A preliminary call is fine and often useful for identifying what you need to gather.
What if some documents are unavailable because the estate is still being organized?
Call us and describe what is missing and why. Some missing items can be worked around; others are required. We will tell you which is which for your specific situation.
